Logos

The mark is pixel art drawn on a 24-cell grid, and every file here is rendered from that grid at a whole-number scale — so it is exact at these sizes rather than resampled into them. Scale by whole multiples and it stays sharp; scale by anything else and it will not.

Colours and type

These four are the brand's palette — the ground the mark is drawn on and the accent it is drawn in. The app itself ships four themes, one of them light, so a screenshot may legitimately show other colours; these are the ones to use when you are reproducing the MARK.

The typeface is DejaVu Sans Mono, on every platform — it is self-hosted, so what you see on this site is what a reader gets. Webmux is monospace throughout, and that is a product decision rather than a stylistic one: everything it shows you is a terminal.

Webmux is a small server you install beside your projects — on your laptop, or better on a machine that stays on: a desktop, a home server, a VPS. It keeps your terminals and agents running after you close the tab, and shows them on whatever screen you are holding — laptop, tablet or phone. It is self-hosted and end-to-end encrypted — the relay that carries the traffic cannot read it — and its terminals and editor are free.

Write the product as Webmux — capital W, the rest lower case — and the identifier as webmux. Never WebMux or webMUX.

Using the mark

Webmux™ is a trademark of Alpha Tech SAS. You may use the mark to refer to Webmux — in an article, a review, a talk, a comparison — without asking us first.

Please do

Use one of the files above as it is.
Keep its proportions.
Leave clear space around it, at least the height of its eye slots.
Pick the ink that stays readable on your ground — that is why there are three.

Please do not

Recolour it, outline it, add a shadow or a gradient.
Rotate, stretch, crop or redraw it.
Lock it up with another logo, or make it part of your own.
Use it in a way that suggests we endorse, sponsor or supply what you are selling.
